We are a family owned business with Nena at our helm. Cleaning is Nena's passion and under her supervision we guarantee to offer a high standard of service each and every time we clean.

Nena Nedev is passionate about her work, her family and investing in her children's future. Nena was born and raised in Serbia, but left the country in 1993 to join her parents in Canada. She arrived in Ottawa with a suitcase in one hand, a few hundred dollars in her pocket and the determination to make a life in her new home. True to her character and undeterred by hard work, Nena threw herself into learning English and the Canadian way of life.
During Nena's first few years in Ottawa, she joined a cleaning company and worked in different residences, including the Governor General's mansion. For the next ten years Nena worked in the private sector, gradually working her way up to team leader at JDS Uniphase, where she supervised over 100 employees. In 2005, she left the corporate world to work full time with Final Touch Cleaning Services, a business she founded with her husband Boris in 2004. For Nena, returning to the cleaning business was a decision grounded on her past experience in cleaning. It was a step that helped her get back to the work she loved and one in which she excelled.
Nena's motivation was simple: as a mother, she wanted the flexibility to spend time with her twin daughters, Ana and Marija, who are the pride and joy of her life. The girls are bubbly and full of fun, but as Ana suffers from a medical condition, Nena needed a job where she could put her daughter's medical needs before her own. Nena's experience as a mother of a sick child has added to her understanding that not every household can adhere to a strict routine, and she is aware that her clients may also need,
at times, to put their family first. That understanding makes Nena's services
more personal than any other cleaning company. Nena's willingness
to change jobs and rely on Final Touch Cleaning Services to ensure the future
for her family was a chance Nena was willing to take.
It worked. Cleaning is Nena's passion and her goal is customer satisfaction. She
works on the simple premise of maintaining high standards with a personal

We do not give estimates based on the square footage of the area, but based on the amount of time it will take us to thoroughly clean the workplace. What makes Final Touch Cleaning Services special?
We are proud of our work and we love what we do. We are a small family oriented business and we enjoy keeping our clients satisfied and happy. We believe in giving our clients the highest standard of service and, for the past nine years, our quality of work has not changed. Every home and office is cleaned as if it were our own.
How many Cleaning Specialists are on the team?
Depending on the job and the size of the space, we will come in teams of two or three specialists. This way everyone has his or her specialties - no one feels tired or burned out by the end of the cleaning, and the cleaning gets done faster. Nena trains all of our specialists. She spends time with each person, teaching her cleaning techniques and ensuring that he or she cleans to the highest standards. Rest assured, Nena oversees the services provided in every home and business, and all of our specialists are qualified to work independently.
Do you require contracts?
No. We have built our business on customer loyalty and satisfaction.
Do you supply the cleaning products or can I supply them?
For one-time cleaning services we provide all the cleaning supplies (which are biodegradable). For our weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly cleaning services, we ask our clients to provide the cleaning products and supplies. We are happy to provide advice to clients about products that in our experience work the best. And, we also offer the convenience of purchasing these products for clients and delivering them on our next visit.
What are your rates?
Our cleaning services are based on an hourly rate. Several factors are involved in determining the length of time it takes to clean a home or office; the size of the property, client preferences and specific needs, and the frequency of cleaning. We also take into consideration the number of people living in the home, if there are pets, the number of bathrooms, the general condition of the home, and the type of flooring (hardwood, pine or carpeting). That's why we love to meet with our clients and take a walk-through of the house or office. Our attention to detail means that we will provide our clients with the best quote possible. Please keep in mind; the first cleaning is always the most time consuming. But it's well worth it!
What if I need to cancel or reschedule the cleaning?
It's not a problem, we just ask that you provide us with 48 hours notice where possible. And if you do miss a cleaning, it would be helpful if we can take more time on the next cleaning. This way we will be able to do a thorough cleaning in order to maintain the quality and care we guarantee!
What do you use for dusting?
We bring our own special, soft, cotton cloths, towels and micro-fibre mops for cleaning and dusting. Because we believe in doing a through cleaning, we use a variety of different cloths and towels for the kitchen, bathroom and floors. Fresh cleaning materials are used for every house and office.
I never looked back. This was what I wanted to do. It is a hard job but there is nothing is more rewarding than making a client happy and proud of having a spotless clean house.
